Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

UW Experience – My experience at the UW-Madison has been pretty good so far. As it is a large school, finding a small community to connect with has been one of my best decisions. Although the school has some negatives, the education is great.

    Course highlights:

The University of Wisconsin has had a long struggle with diversity. The campus has an extreme lack of racial and ethnic diversity within the student body. Although there is a decent sized minority population, the minority and majority students are extremely segregated.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Minority students are often forced to deal with ignorant remarks from white students on campus and there have been multiple incidents of hate speech, ignorant behavior, and physical incidents.Well Balanced – This school has a lot of different majors and is strong in most of them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Depends where you live but honestly most of the apartments and houses people live in are nice. Nothing is too over priced, the midwest is good with reasonable prices for students. The food in Wisconsin is awesome. Ians pizza is my jam and so is babcock ice cream.

    Course highlights:

Madison is a very difficult city to drive and park in. There is no parking available for dorm residence on campus, and off campus residence pay an arm and a leg for a parking spot. Meter parking can get expensive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Freshman Dorms – The freshman dorms are teeny tiny rooms, but most of the upperclassman ones or private residence halls are much bigger and more inviting, as well as less like being at camp.Huge Variety of Dining Choices – You can find food from all over the world in Madison.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

, and is where I currently live. It's nice to have the dining hall in Dejope and sports amenities so near by, by it is a hike to any of my classes. The social atmosphere is great in the Southeast area, but quite low in the Lakeshore area.

    Course highlights:

There are plenty to choose from and people generally get into one of their top choices. I have considered a professional co-ed fraternity, which are great to expand your knowledge and build connections.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The cost seems pretty ridiculous though for such a tiny room.Greek life (as a non-greek member) has not affected my life on campus in any regard. I have met plenty of great people at the events they hold, but at the end of the day there isn't a rivalry or hatred for one another.
