This class is a pre-requisite for most majors if you have not fulfilled the Quantitative Reasoning requirement for undergraduates at UW. The professor is easy to understand but a lot of the material we are expected to know if meant to be learned on your own.
The highlights of this course consisted of learning the basics of Calculus along with the trigonometry necessary to comprehend specific concepts. The professor had a very enthusiastic presence during lecture and it was apparent that he was passionate about math.

Make sure that you have prior knowledge of basic calculus concepts. It is also good to have strong algebraic background as well.
