    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course to students who have a strong understanding of general chemistry. If not, I would recommend taking Chem 103 and 104, since it allows for more time to understand the material.

    Course highlights:

The labs and discussions were always intuitive. The lectures were quite confusing sometimes, and the professor seemed unprepared sometimes, also.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to have a good background of chem before choosing this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very challenging course: if you are not dedicated, you will fall behind and struggle.

    Course highlights:

Obviously this course covers chemistry basics more in depth than typical high school courses. For me personally, there was a lot more organic chemistry than I had been taught in previous courses.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and work hard in lab (the lab reports can save your grade)

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor is very into what he teaches, and material is very easy to follow.

    Course highlights:

We learned basic chemical principles and how they are applied to real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand the concepts. Memorization is not a great strategy for this class. Do lots of practice problems.
