    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because its four credits but only meets twice a week for power lectures. The class is also huge with four hundred or more students in it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about economics and how to study. My grades on exams improved throughout the semester and I learned how to teach myself material that I may not find very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To anyone considering this course, I would tell them to go to office hours and develop a relationship with the professor. Also, participate in class and do not be afraid to make mistakes. Get a tutor and go to your discussion!

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even if you don't like economics, Johnson brings a ton of energy to the class and makes the topics a lot easier to understand

    Course highlights:

Even though it's an intro class, Johnson really brought the topics to a broader scale and showed us how they related to the real world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Create a group to do problem sets with each week!
