Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class taught me a lot about grammar and especially how to do bibliographies and citations.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course‚Äč were definitely our class discussions.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay on top of the papers assigned because those are your only grades and even though a lot of time was given the deadlines creep up and they are not small papers.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course the summer before my senior year, and I truly enjoyed that class. It really helped me to see how deep my writing could go. I feel like I am ready to get reall college essays done because of that course. It is a great entry course.

    Course highlights:

Even though I didnt really understand it at the time, I enjoyed reading Tolstoy. I have many times thought about reading the story again. I also like the final project. We basically got to pick whatever topic we wanted related to Problem and Solution. I decided to go with Animal Testing. I learned that my writing needed to really improve in order for me to get through not only my senior year but also college. The professor was really helpful and made us dig deeper in order to write great papers.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Never be afraid to go outside the box. Of course, most essays have major focuses, but it is okay to make those focuses personal. The only way to truly get an essay is to dig deep in the subject and in yourself. ALWAYS ask questions! I probably would not habe done so well if I did not ask the professor questions about each essay. Questions are good becaise they show the professor that you care, amd the answers can truly make you a better writer.
