Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great introduction to Education and a general overview of America. It shows a lot about the diversity in America and it has some instructional strategies to help students that are not from the same cultural context still learn. In the end, we had to write a big paper on the differences between 2 Native American cultures and as a class, we all went to a field trip to see a Native American School.

    Course highlights:

I loved the final field trip where we went to a Native American school, which is very different than normal public school that most students have been to. I learned that America has a lot more cultures than most people would think and the course gives you a slight information about how you could build a classroom that welcomes this diversity.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is an introduction course to Education so don't be too worried. It is not hard at all but you do need to work a little in order to complete the projects and quizzes, especially the big Native American paper.
