    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who is interested in becoming a cellular biologist. Plus, our professor was incredibly knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

I gleaned an unbelievably large amount from this class. Both the lab and the lecture taught us the processes that take place within cells as well as the differentiation that can occur between different types of cells.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in with a wide, open mind and learn how to peel the epithelial layer off the back portion of the eye of a chick embryo.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is incredibly fun for those with an interest in animals. It is difficult, but rewarding.

    Course highlights:

I gained a thorough appreciation for the physiological and anatomical functions of various animals by taking this course. Especially comparative anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do NOT get behind in the dissection notebook. It is not difficult to keep it up to date, but once you get two or three dissections behind, it is very time-consuming to pull it back up to date.
