    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Aside from the requirements, this class pushes you to reach the "college writing" standard that you should be at when you enter college. From research papers to persuasive essays, this class is a tool for your other classes, and the things you learn from here can be used in any other classes you plan to take.

    Course highlights:

For myself, I've learned to critically think and read other articles and to add onto a conversation so that the discussion progresses. Our voice is important and often times we mumble empty words. This course instructs us on how we can structure our opinions and ideas in a way to help push the ideas of others further.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work as soon as you can and revise as much as you can as well. It is important to get feedback from a few others because we tend to be bias over our own writing at times. Above all else, stay on track with the syllabus and stay ahead of it so you're never surprised about the next few assignments.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to every student because it equips students with the most productive tactics to become a successful writer.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlights of this course was when each student did the peer revisions. the Peer revisions allowed students to hear their papers out loud and receive advice from the teacher and their fellow peers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss a homework assignment, go to every conference, participate in class, and attend class

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English 102 is a required course. But even with this the class is fairly easy overall as long as you don't lag off and leave the assignments for last minute.

    Course highlights:

In this course the main material was teaching us how to write a ten page research paper that would be your final project in the portfolio. A ten page paper sounds terrifying but it really was nice, because I learned how to write better than I have before and how to structure something so long for the future.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay involved in the course work. Don't fall behind or you will be in a world of trouble, feeling like this is the worst class ever. Finally, DO NOT, wait to write the paper until the night before. It is not possible to write a good ten page paper the night before it is due and expect to pass.
