    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a tough course, so unless you have the mindset and drive to keep up, you should think over your decision for a little while. Other than that, if you are really interested in Anatomy, and need it for your career, go for it!

    Course highlights:

I learned how the brain works and how muscles work and which bones are where. I did dissections of brains and eyeballs, and just gained a bunch of information I can use towards my future career.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a tough course, so unless you have the mindset and drive to keep up, you should think about whether or not you wanna take it for a while. Other than that, if you are really interested in Anatomy, and need it for your career, go for it, but study your class materials outside of class as well. After learning a topic in class, read over the notes at least once more and you should do great!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is for medical based students. It is a necessity to graduating if you plan on going into the medical field.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed this class very much. While the lecture tended to be a tad bit boring, I learned a lot and Dr. Petto truly enjoys his job. I had a lot of fun in lab and my TA was honestly the best and most helpful. We learned a lot about the eye, the brain and reflexes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Take the time to read each chapter and ask for help when you need it. If you do not understand something, Dr. Petto or your TA will be more than happy to help you. I did so much better after I would go see my TA and ask him the questions I had. Take your time on the take-home and case study assignments. They're hard and challenging but you are more than able to get them done correctly if you take the time.
