Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I didn't realize before this course how little I knew about the constitution. In this course, I learned how major it is to know the constitution as it helps govern our laws and society today. I also learned more information about the government and policing in general, which is definitely a good topic to know about.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the professor making the topics more interesting with his quirky personality, and telling us about his personal experiences as a police officer, and then later a detective. For those interested in becoming a police officer, I would highly recommend this professor as he gives his own insight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the chapters completely. Make sure you go to lecture. Some of his quiz and test questions were based on your attendance at lecture. Lecture is also important as his personal experience gives more insight to those interested in this field. Also, as a final tip, make sure your notes are thorough.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a great course for anyone who is undecided or perusing a criminal justice degree. The professor teaches the course well and provides interesting back stories from his own personal experience on the Milwaukee police force.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned all the ideas generally associated with criminal justice. We covered basic law, police procedures, corrections, and juvenile justice. Ruben uses both the textbook and real life examples from the media to help portray his teachings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students planning on taking this course to read the textbook and take notes from each lecture. All the quizzes and exams given during this course come straight from his lectures given twice a week.
