    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Sorenson and the discussion teachers do an elaborate job of explaining all concepts. Being a somewhat difficult course, Dr. Sorenson is very helpful and is willing to help all students pass this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to draw Lewis structures, balance chemical equations, and determine polarity and shapes of molecules among many other concepts. I developed a deeper understanding of the periodic table and trends within it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your homework and attend lecture and discussion. Take lots of notes because it is easy to forget.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course with this professor because he goes off on long tangents instead of teaching the material. He also makes some students feel bad for asking questions.

    Course highlights:

I did learn the basics of chemistry and it was a great refresher course before moving on to a higher level of chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course with any other teacher!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I honestly have not taken this course, but I am a big fan of science so I do recommend it. :)

    Course highlights:

Being able to recall what I learned in my sophomore year of high school

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention as always! Taking notes is a must too because of the different names to chemistry.
