    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A gen ed class that every student has to take no matter what type of degree they take. However, is a great class on learning the ins and outs of writing a college level paper.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to properly write a college level paper

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time to prepare to write papers that are due. Write rough drafts and go over with other peers.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a required class to go on further into college and is not necessarily hard, but I did find it quit pointless. The way it was set up was very poor and majority of the class were taught by graduate students that really had no idea what they were doing. All in all you won't really learn anything in this class, so my tip for you is to know how to write a paper and write it well.

    Course highlights:

This class helped me not only complete a paper required for this class but for another class as well. Honestly I never really learned anything in this class

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you know how to structure and write a paper well. Google is your friend in figuring out how to structure your paper.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking this course at a university overall. English 1010 is a basic prerequisite all freshman have to complete in order to graduate, and I would encourage students to take this course during high school or at a community college so you don't have to pay thousands of dollars to take a Gen Ed easy A class that you don't need to spend as much on as your higher credit classes specific to you major.

    Course highlights:

This class was about writing, 4 different essays through out the course of the semester to be exact. Each testing your skill to use your resources, cite sources and go into great length to find depth in each essay. I learned about research, using credible sources and using peers to critique and help with papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Because of the generality of this course, I would recommend taking this course in high school for college credit or at a community college instead of spending thousands taking it at a university. It is a fairly easy class and not worth the money. Get it out of the way outside of your university bill and save your money for classes specific to your major!
