    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

John Spitler was an excellent teacher and one I really gained a lot of respect for over the course of the semester. Taking the course from him was my second time taking the course the sheer difference in approach he took to the course make an exceptional difference in terms of my learning. It was like he was solely there to make sure everyone in the class who was willing to learn the material would learn it successfully.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things. Among them were the ways of classifying linear ordinary differential equations. I also then learned the various methods of solving each class of linear ODEs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the teachers office a lot and you will thrive. If you spend too much time thinking about a problem yourself you will likely over complicate the problem and get on an unnecessary tangent.
