    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math 1000 or Problem Solving was an interesting class to take. It was one of those classes where you definitely had to be able to think outside of the box, which can sometimes be difficult for students.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned a lot of different ways to go about solving problems which I would never have thought about. This course was a very tricky course due to the different mathematical techniques that are used but once you figure out the techniques and ask a lot of questions, it begins to make more sense as to why you would go about solving that problem that way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is a very tough class due to the different mathematical techniques that are used. In order to succeed in this class take a lot of advantage of teacher aids, tutors and office hours. The teacher and teacher aids are more than willing to sit down with you and help you succeed in the class if you are willing to take time out of your day and visit with them about questions you have on the homework.
