Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Tommy is a great guy, he answers every question that is ask and he is super funny. I was lucky to have him for acct 1010 and 1020 and made both of the classes worthwhile.

    Course highlights:

Tommy always made us laugh, which helped to make this class one of my favorite parts of the day. I learned a lot from him, not just about accounting but also just about life. The information that he gave the class will definitely apply to so many other topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to write detailed notes, because while you may get it in class the homework could stump you. For me I did the best when my notes where so detailed that a person who was not in the class could look at them and do the homework. This also makes it so much easier to study for the tests in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me learn the basics of accounting and is the base to build off of for future accounting classes. It got me interested in managerial accounting from this course.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I gained knowledge on managerial accounting that built onto things I had learned in Principles of Accounting 1. I learned different ratios and how the helped businesses and how to make business decisions based on the information from the company.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, the first thing you need to do is go to class! There are many important lecture examples that the teacher shows throughout the class and the homework is difficult if you miss the class examples. My advice is to take notes throughout the duration of this class because that will be important for studying. Not only do you need to know how to work the problems in this class for this test, but also know the vocabulary words for the multiple choice on the test.
