    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is mainly about learning to be a great presenter, and you expect to complete 5 presentations throughout the term. Each presentation has a different focus and emphasis. It is a lot of stress but also a lot of fun to prepare for each presentation.

    Course highlights:

I have started the course as being someone who extremely feared public speaking and ended up being someone who loved the course and could deliver a speech with confidence. I have learned to present with natural gestures, conversational tone and rely less and less on memorizing the script.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I have heard a lot of rumors about this course being a GPA killer. Yes, it is a GPA killer. No one ever got A+ in this course and the highest marks would usually be around 85. Grading a presentation is quite subjective. Since it's a tough course to do well in, I would recommend focusing more improving yourself rather than getting good grades. Focus on trying to improve as a better presenter and conquering your fear of public speaking rather than on getting good grades, then you will enjoy this course.
