Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The libraries on campus are a popular spot for many students including myself. There are many nice places to study varying from silent room to some a bit more lively. Many have nice views and nice atmospheres.

    Course highlights:

Drinking Is More Popular – Drinking is what most student take part in, some drugs but mostly pot only. Like most campus if you want it you can find it, and it's not thrown in your face. There are plenty of places around campus so the day to day food doesn't get repetitive. Plus easy to go downtown.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pretty tolerant. Underage drinking is never an issue and smoking is fine as long as youre outside.UBC is very stylish and extremely diverse. The most poular club is the ski and board club. The social scene is reasonable to average.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Small Programs Brings People Together – I am at UBC taking the Geological Engineering program (GEOE). GEOE is currently the smallest engineering program in the engineering faculty and I would not have it any other way.

    Course highlights:

I have gotten to know all my fellow GeoEngs and made some good friends. In addition we all study together and help those who are struggling with the material.Pretty but Difficult to Approach.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

They come from many places around the world and I would say that the average student from UBC is good-looking. However, just like the canadian "politeness", the being nice part doesn't mean they're as open as a latin american or european student. Girls are rather cold here.
