    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was great because the professor is literally a bro (we'd call him a brof instead of a prof) but his teaching style is very conceptual in nature (whereas other finance courses would be much more quantitative/number-oriented)

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about the incentives of management, conflict of interest, how to value companies, how to value mergers/acquisitions, etc. The course dives into all important aspects of corporate finance but doesn't go much into the three core valuation methods.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always read the notes and do the practice problems that the instructor provides. Coming to class is essential due to his informative answers as well as ensuring you understand the course content (as well as asking questions if you don't)
