    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a good introduction to accounting. It is basic and simple, but is really helpful for future accounting courses.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the fortnightly quizzes as it was fun doing it with friends. The course taught basic accounting principles which are important.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the lecture and do the tutorial problems. Both tutorial and lectures are helpful for this course. The book can help further explain.

ACCT1501 encapsulates the basic fundamentals behind accounting principles and applications. EVERYONE should take this course as it is absolutely essential that individuals are able to look at a financial statement and interpret it as well as to be able to prepare one from scratch.

    Course highlights:

Being able to apply theory into many thorough questions is definitely a highlight. The course coordinator, lecturer and tutors are all very good in answering student queries, preparing class content and explaining difficult concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

ACCT1501 is all about putting in the time. As long as you put in the time to do as many practice questions as possible, you'll find the content simple to understand and simple to apply to real life scenarios.
