Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Though I was not a Commerce student, I was able to join and attend many (if not all) of their camps, dances, balls and other events. It was through the Commerce Society that I met my best friends.
I think graduating from uni gives you a little advantage in the work place. Where I work now, people have a lot of respect for uni students/graduates. I think universities should do more to give students a little more direction in terms of career paths after uni.

Advice for students:
They do quite a lot in final year(s) of study (e.g. Career fairs, information sessions) but I think more can be done in the early stages of study so that students can start thinking about it rather than waiting until their final year and then stressing about being under-prepared and not gaining a graduate position.
