Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof Haf is one of the most real people and is very passionate about the subject. If you want to talk to him in person one on one, he will try his hardest to meet you within a couple days

    Course highlights:

I got a deeper understanding of chemistry. I knew a lot about it because I took AP chem in high school but here in college, everything goes deeper than what you might already know

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading ahead of time is beneficial especially if you don't really know the topics. He goes pretty fast and you gotta keep your head in the class

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

GenChem was the hardest class that I took my freshman year. I came in from doing fairly well in my high school Chemistry class and even enjoying it, though it was hardly comparable to what I did in college. I hated it and I wasn't good at it, and this class is a pretty effective way of discovering whether or not a science extensive field is right for you. For this reason entirely is the only reason I would recommend it if you aren't Pre Med.

    Course highlights:

I honestly don't recall much of anything from this course, save for a couple of general concepts. The sooner I get rid of my books the better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend dedicating entire days to this course. That is, work on nothing else besides Chemistry on that day and take thorough notes (though this is a pretty universal piece of advice). I never advise all-nighters, but if they help, go for it before an exam.
