    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is tough, and boring. You'll have some of these throughout your time. That doesn't mean it's not worthwhile; quite to the contrary, actually. If you can focus and understand the material, you'll find yourself learning a lot of interesting new concepts. It is easy to lose interest, though.

    Course highlights:

I had never studied any psychology before (I'd been mostly focusing on philosophy), but this taught me that patterns and scientific studies can really dictate the process by which we, as humans, can consider, decide, and interact with the world around us. This realization was kind of shocking, but also totally obvious in a way that was really telling about myself.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take your time studying, go slow through the material, and repeat, repeat, repeat. It's tough to get it right if you're not scientifically minded, but it is possible. You just need to take the time.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There isn't a soul on Earth who wouldn't benefit from taking Social Psychology and Individual Differences, because every soul on Earth is an individual. This course enables a better understanding of both the self and of others who differ in myriad ways, and by broadening your understanding of social situations and perspectives, so broadened are your skills regarding communication and interaction with others.

    Course highlights:

This course excited everyone because all members of the course learn more about themselves, whether it be concerning situational perspectives, individual personality and dispositional traits, and the biases that create our daily experiences of the world. You will learn a lot about both yourself and about society around you, and recognize endless applications of concepts to both your past and present life.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course, fully indulge yourself in the material. Take the online personality quizzes, read the text, and look for examples of what you've learned in your everyday life. Share with friends and family, and strive to embody the course material. I saw this course not just as an academic addition to my transcript, but as a personal addition to my existence as a human. This course will change your perspective and understanding of both yourself and those around you - your family, friends, teachers, and world leaders.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really adore this course. My professor takes breaks in the middle of class to read us comical personality quizzes. He's very passionate and the material is manageable if you study. You really need to understand the basic concepts of this course to succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about myself than I thought. I learned ways in which we view ourselves and others. I now see the world a little differently, with a more open mind.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, absolutely! And study with a group, it makes it a lot easier.
