This class was tough.
Professor Bobkova has a collection of habits that combine for making this course nearly unbearable. She has a strong accent, speaks incredibly quickly, spends most of the class with her back to the students, and teaches incredibly difficult material. This is all at 9 AM which, for me, leads to a miserable class that was positioned for failure from the get-go. Bobkova may have been a fantastic instructor, but the things I mentioned above combine to make the class nearly impossible for all but the most dedicated, forgiving, math-capable early-birds.
I feel bad, saying this, but if Irina Bobkova is your only choice for Math 161 in a semester, than I think you're better off skipping math for a semester. I don't think this class can be recommended to anybody.

Advice for students:
Don't take this course. I'm sorry, but it's just not worth it.
