Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Your experience can be hit or miss. Many professors want to see you succeed but they won't hold your hand through the process. Sometimes, if you mess up, they will be forgiving.

    Course highlights:

However, I have had one very strict professor who everyone in my class was afraid of. She was brilliant and knew her topic, but she wasn't friendly and didn't seem to care about her students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's perfect if you're in the sciences, but if you're in the humanities or social sciences, it's hard to find a job regardless of where you got your degree.

    Course Overview:

It is a very important course for mechanical engineering.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to determine the forces and moments in a statically indeterminate structure. I also learned how to test the properties of materials in tension and shear.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start studying early and go to the professor or TA for help whenever you can. Take advantage of all of the online review material.
