    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class serves as a refresher course to all incoming freshman. The class touches base with all the basic concepts of algebra and calculus.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the class that practically all of it was in some way touched upon in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not blow this class off just because it seems easy. This is a college level course, so it will always be a bit more difficult in comparison to high school level math classes

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before this class I would have shied away from math, but afterwords I could not be more excited to start Calc II.

    Course highlights:

While I of course learned a lot of calculous, the thing I will take away from this class is how to study. I learned the best way to review, practice, and check my progress. The best part of this was that I was able to see myself progress and improve with this tactic throughout the semester.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're prepared to put in the time in effort. It's definitely not an easy course, but it is do-able if you're committed to doing well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is an extremely important course in my mind and may be important in many different fields.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot of material throughout the semester, including derivatives, antiderivatives, and more (which all usually are based off of derivatives and antiderivatives). These topics are explored through graphs, word problems, and more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Going over examples, in my opinion, was the best way to prepare for this course, and was the best method for learning the material.
