    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend the course because the teacher refuses to teach how to use a calculator to do the calculations, while her teaching assistants teach different methods than the professor. There is no consistency, nor communication, between the professor and the teaching assistants. Not only that, but during lecture she goes to fast for you to be able to thoroughly take notes and write down the work that she is doing. She does post the lecture notes online for you to download before hand, but that requires a special software to be able to do the equations. If you print off the notes to do during lecture it is a waste of paper and money because the professor doesn't even get through a third of a notes. I would not recommend this course or professor.

    Course highlights:

I did learn how to take notes fast.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the math help room with any questions and do not hesitate to talk to the teaching assistants or the professor. Though they may tell you different ways to find the solution and do the math, one of them may explain it more thoroughly and find a way for you to understand the math more easily.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Really big; can be scary if you are a girl out alone at night.

    Course highlights:

Great journalism program and student newspaper. I was able to take advantage of both!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

No regrets. I learned a lot in the classroom, at the State News, from kids in the dorm. I loved the dorm experience, and I loved that there were so many people it was easy to be be social. I was able to work at the state Capitol. Far more good things than bad to review.
