    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because this course was very interesting overall. It definitely broadened my perspective on social issues relating to our world and how sociologists evaluate these issues.

    Course highlights:

I would say that the highlights were learning more about African American women and the violence that they face as well. I learned that many African American women face police brutality and how the media doesn't cover this issue as much as they do with violence against black men.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise incoming students to come into this course with an open mind on issues with society and to be open to learning different perspectives from your peers and to expect a lot of writing assignments and also lots of reading.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class seems almost too challenging for a elective course. Almost nobody taking this course is sociology major, yet that is how it feels.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to challenge myself and how to study better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always having the readings done before you get to lectures and take your own notes on the chapters.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you want to learn more about our society, and how it all works. If you're interested in learning about an individual's behavior, this is the course for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned about our society from different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read ahead, study over your notes!
