    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it's a good reality check. This course is a course many students take in high school but if you don't do well on the math placement test (like most students) then there's a good chance you'll retake a course from high school. The difference is, this course goes a lot faster than high school did and has much more in depth material. It's a great first step to get used to college math and become more prepared for Calculus I-IV.

    Course highlights:

I learned much more in depth in this course then I would have in high school. I also became much more prepared for the rest of my college math requirements through this course and refreshed my knowledge within Pre-Calculus.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, come prepared to learn at a fast tempo, and be prepared to spend a lot of time learning outside of class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because it's lots of good material and a good experience overall.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were meeting the other students in lectures and recitations because I got to expand my network and get help from them, and when they needed it I returned the favor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared ahead of time for just about everything.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is very hard to understand. However, her lectures are very very detailed so it makes learning easy. I would make sure to bring questions to recitation because that is when you're going to get the most amount of help.

    Course highlights:

This course refreshed my knowledge about pre-calc. It has prepped me for my calc class I am taking now. I learned all about trigonometry, and many other things to help me in my math journey.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out the lecture notes and write on them during lecture.
