Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was great and provided lots of "learning by doing" opportunities!

    Course highlights:

We did a lot of practical applications, like case studies, to figure out how different systems and cycles worked. It was a great intro to the subject and made me excited for biology classes to come!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If review sessions are offered, definitely go!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with this professor if you are a disciplined student. He is a very intelligent professor, and is willing to help you if you are willing to ask. His lectures are very detailed, and you should pay attention to the lecture recordings and slides that he provides...make sure you understand every single thing he talks about, or else you will get lost very easily. Put in a LOT of work and you will be happy with your grades. Say goodbye to your weekends.

    Course highlights:

Spranger is very passionate in his teaching. He is skilled in explaining the processes of the body, and how our cells work to keep our body running and our maintain our health.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to lecture recordings at least once, and write down things you don't understand so you can ask about them later. They are helpful. Go to office hours and the study sessions that are provided by the TAs. Spend a lot of time on this course, and less time going out with friends. Oh - ALWAYS go to class. pop quizzes and participation points add up QUICK.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is wonderful because it is an all inclusive break down of molecular biology. It looks at how things work on a micro scale so that in future classes, you can pull these concepts to understand how populations work as a whole.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the intensive notes and office hours honestly. The professors I had were wonderful and very willing to work one on one with the students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are organized and keep up on your work, this is not a class to slack in.
