Pretty easy, overall.
The course itself wasn't extremely hard, it's mostly that the professor would teach genetic topics in such a weird way that even genetics majors in their senior year had trouble at times comprehending the lessons. Also in lab, we were given two types of labs during the same timespan, which made for some confusion. The TAs and the professor were nice people though, and the TA (mine was Sarah) was more than willing to make more office hours if you or your groups needed assistance. In the end though, if this is not a requirement for your major, I wouldn't take it honestly.
The highlight of this course was the initial lab that we did, which was taking samples of random things outside and surveying the variance within the populations. I also liked working in groups because I met some really cool people that I wouldn't have otherwise met through this class
