    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will truly expand your way of thinking about very controversial topics, such as race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. Although, you're in for a lot of work. Professor Fore is a relatively tough grader, but fair. If you put in a lot of work, you will receive a good grade. Overall, I recommend this course because it's challenging, but you will learn a lot from it.

    Course highlights:

In this class, we were given a ridiculous amount of reading and we had quizzes on them, but we were never given readings that were "pointless". Coming from an area that is very closed minded about many issues, it was great to receive other perspectives about topics on gender, race, sexuality, etc. Also, the class discussions that Professor Fore initiates are so interesting and it was so amazing to hear ideas that other classmates had.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE READINGS. Also, make sure you go to Professor Fore's office hours to get advice on your papers, she will help a bunch!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the course is challenging and she is a very tough grader, you will come out having learned a lot. More than just the material covered in class, you will learn a lot about yourself and you will develop and expand your knowledge of race issues.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the systems of privilege in the United States while also learning how to become a better reader and writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to put in a lot of work, but it is very rewarding.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Really insightful discussions, the course material is really difficult so I would not recommend it if you're not interested in social justice issues but super valuable if they're important to you.

    Course highlights:

This class helped my writing skills a lot and the information in the reading and discussion is incredibly important and taught me so much about important social issues.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the reading, quizzes are regular and the information is necessary for discussion and essays.
