Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those with any form of business, sales, or marketing interests for their career choice. Advocating for this course is not only a justice to the recognition of my professors’ outstanding performance, but also a justice to those who are not so easily enthused by their business courses. This class was an exceptional course that is very detailed and enlightening. It prepared me for the necessary skillsets needed in order to obtain potential proficiency in this career field.

    Course highlights:

Even though there truly was barely ever a dull moment in this course for me, some of the highlights consisted of when we would randomly get called on the spot to do a role-play in front of the class, as well as when we had to do a commercial by ourselves, that was basically an elevator pitch of ourselves (which is most times the most difficult for us to do) it helped me to embark on a breakthrough I never knew I needed. I learned to get comfortable with the uncomfortable and embrace change because it is very inevitable when it comes to sales!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering this course would be to stay open minded and come prepared to learn. To succeed in this course you must come to class because while the lectures are posted online there is nothing like the examples the professor provides as well as the class participation to help you prepare for examinations. Some study tips I would recommend for this course is go over the notes you take in class and definitely pay very close attention to the things to know on the study guide provided because the professor does not like to trick you; everything is very straight forward and precise.
