    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Hilary comes across as a great prof, but she does nothing but instill propaganda into her students' minds. She talks about freedom of expression and rights of publication for professors, but shuts down any mildly conservative counter to her arguments. She does nothing but preach all class and then assign brutal research papers that I haven't seen in my 5 years at university to date, let alone for a first year course. Final exam easier than midterm.

    Course highlights:

Didn't learn much. The textbook she used was confusing and not organized in any coherent way. Went back hundreds of years into the history of criminology, but learned next to nothing about criminology in Canada today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Best advice for this course: don't take it with this prof. If you have no choice, then make sure you talk to her during her office hours to get any advantage you can.
