    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course as a GPA booster. The deadlines are ludicrously short considering the fact that the material required to complete assignments is only covered the day before they're due.

    Course highlights:

Learned very little. I got an overview of some computing concepts, but most are taught so simply and applied in such a complex way that you have no hope of learning anything.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Spend as much time as you can preparing for his exams. They aren't tough, but the concepts are so confusing. Also, keep ahead of the class since the assignments are impossible to do yourself if you don't.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was supposed to be my introduction to a computer science minor, but Bobby's class is horribly structured for someone without a lot of prior knowledge to do well. Bobby oversimplifies his lectures, while the labs are brutally in depth and difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned some basic coding, but if you're not a student who's been coding since they were 12 or 13, I'd suggest just avoiding this topic all together.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do the labs early! Find a study partner and divide up the work, but make sure you understand what they did. The labs will take over 15 hours of work each week :(
