    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Since this course is a prerequisites course, I would recommend taking this class with Anoop, he is very helpful and always reply to the discussion board when you have a question. I would not recommend people taking this class for an electives.

    Course highlights:

I learned more on programming using C

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This class might help you get an easy A, or get you failed easily. If you want to take this course, you have to 100% committed to the class and keep doing the lab on time. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE is the most important thing that you have to remember because if you do, it will be hard to catch up with the lab.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course but do not take it as an elective ever.

    Course highlights:

The course does a great job of really pushing students to the limits in sheer problem solving.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

try and work every week and get something done

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking this course with Richard. He's super friendly and willing to teach, but all of his presentations of the material are ridiculously complicated. This course is supposed to be an intro, but it's taught in such a difficult manner.

    Course highlights:

The first week or two was interesting because the material gradually increased in difficulty. However, by week 2 it was impossible to complete the labs in a timely manner. The class is near completion and over 80% of the class is sitting at a failing grade because they are behind on their labs.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Find a buddy and split the work. Have them explain labs to you so that you can write your own original code using their ideas. Without this, you have no hope of succeeding unless you've been coding since you were 10.
