    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as it is essential to learning organic chemistry. It starts off with reviewing material covered in Grade 11 and 12 classes and builds up its difficulty. It is essential for someone taking this course to review their lecture slides and watch all the necessary videos so that they thoroughly understand the material. This is an introductory course and in a limited amount of time covers a lot of material. Go to T.A. office hours and attend all the tutorials as the T.A. goes over LONCAPA problems.

    Course highlights:

VSEPR theory is essential in organic chemistry and one should remember this concept for further chemistry courses. Atomic orbitals understanding is important in Orgo II and this course covers this topic at the end of the course. Be sure to review this concept.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please go to tutorials even though they are not mandatory. The teaching assistants go over LONCAPA problems and it give out many hints. There are quite a lot of problems for LONCAPA, but setting up a day where I just worked on these problems helped me stay on track.
