    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its a great introductory course to finance and I actually know sufficient stuff about the market economics now which is honestly surprising. Also a great GPA booster if you're good with numbers

    Course highlights:

Learnt about different types of loans, financial institutions, how FIs earn their cash, techniques to actually save money (lol), how to compare bank interest rates, what affects share/bond price, types of shares and bonds, how to reap benefit from holding preferential shares

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Mid terms and Finals may seem deceptively simple because of how easy the tutorials are overall but please do study. There are some legitimate killer questions in both that you will be guaranteed to never have encountered before in the textbook that will force you to think and apply multiple concepts at once. Tutorials are pretty much a free 10% so be wise and do them.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Horrible. Subject was poorly structured, Professors wont respond to questions and if you fall behind there is no catching up..just withdraw and save the stress for something else.

    Course highlights:

NOTHING. DO STATS INSTEAD ITS MORE HELPFUL.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to attend lectures and not fall asleep. Read the textbooks even though the textbook you need is poorly structured (it's a copy and past from other textbooks...wtf) and only sold so the professor makes money.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this subject as it is a very dry subject and although it has many important and useful knowledge its extremely dry.

    Course highlights:

It provides a lot of useful knowledge and provides realistic examples of where and how this knowledge can be used.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, go to all your lectures and tutorials and always complete your homework.
