The course is about international economics, but somehow the lectures get turned into a history lesson. The professor is most likely a history academic teaching economics. One slide goes on for 10-15 mintues, this includes the very start of the lecture slide in "objectives of this lecture".
How trade works around the world, such as tariffs and how it may be good and or bad.

Read the textbook, it provides a lot of good information that will be tested on during class and exams. The lectures don't go into detail, because the professor rather speak about world history.
