This class was tough.
Would recommend for the applied psychology aspects and tips on how to effectively lead a team/manage people. Would not recommend for the insane 30% assignment debates that the tutor alone decides who wins. Eat or be eaten
learning the basics of psychology while also grounding that abstract concepts in real life. Also teaches you how to best counter troublesome people and different strategies each company employs to manage their employees

Advice for students:
Steel yourself for the tutorial. Those are absolute beasts. You'll be randomly grouped into 4-5 students each and then its basically the hunger games from then on. You have to quell intragroup conflict and then use your pre-existing knowledge to smash other groups into oblivion. Your marks are basically based on how well you obliterated the opposing groups (not joking). If you are like really good and your group is trash, I strongly suggest removing yourself from it and going solo cos it saves time. Please do your reading beforehand of the textbook, notes and all associated journal articles because you'll need that ammo if you're going to emerge victorious from the brawl. Teaches you about OB for sure but also extremely dependent on your tutor. Mine's a bit of a lunatic so I didn't have the best experience but it really depends on how you hit off. Bright side is there's no mid term just weekly online quizzes with no time limit (yea you heard right). Debate as an assessment is just absolutely wonky and should be destroyed as an assessment. Excellent learning experience though. Get an ENTJ if you can, we can crush the opposition in debates like no other :) Careful to not dominate too harshly or you'll start getting hard questions you may not be able to answer from the tutor. Answering and counter-firing makes you look like a boss but beware cos making the tutor look terrible means a correspondingly horrible score. Play it cool and act the dumb student but ensure that they know you're the best dumb student. Always remember: Si Vis Pacem, Parabellum. You may not want to crush your friends but you're going to prep yourself to cos otherwise, they're coming for you
