Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I recommend this Phil. 105 with Professor Cervantez to almost every student that I encounter that is looking for a course that actually makes going to class something to look forward to. Professor Cervantez not only loves what he teaches, he also incorporates many other learning tools that makes the class understandable. He touches upon some pretty controversial issues that continue to cause conflict in today's society and gives his students an opportunity to express their thoughts and opinions on the matter. Discussion was by far the best aspect of the course because it really had the ability get people excited to want to become involved. If you are a Crafton student, TAKE THIS COURSE! It is so worth!
As I mentioned before, the discussion aspect of this course was my favorite part. I loved debating certain controversial aspects such as physicians assisted suicide, not to prove people wrong, but to hear out their side and why they disagreed with me. Professor Cervantez promotes a very open, nonjudgmental atmosphere and expects his students to uphold this as well which in turn makes a very comfortable place to express one's mind. While taking this class I learned that to every topic, there are many that will surround it. With this being said, I learned that keeping an open mind about another individual's opinion is an important aspect and quality to keep as I progress through life.
