    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

it was the hardest class i have ever taken, Organic Chemistry is a close second. Although it was difficult it was very interesting but working full time and taking such a difficult class was one of the hardest semester i have ever completed

    Course highlights:

i learned a lot about "bugs" and how the reproduce and how they enter our bodies and what "bugs" cause specific disease or sickness

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study every single day. Know how to spell everything properly. Study, Study, Study.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For a medical student, it's probably a required course. I would definitely take it with Professor Shimeld. She's an excellent professor who really loves the subject material and makes it fun to learn. The course itself is really interesting too. You get to learn about different diseases and what microorganisms cause them. It's just a really interesting and fun class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were probably learning about the different diseases and the bacteria that caused them. It was interesting to learn that one bacteria could cause many different diseases. The labs were really interesting to because I learned how to test bacteria to determine which one it was. A major highlight of this class was that it taught me better study habits that's I've since applied to my other classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice considering this course would be to keep up with the lectures and to never put off studying until the night before.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to take in preparation to other medical related courses. The professor is firm but great as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned alot about not only the material of microbiology, but I figured out a better way to study. It only takes failing the first test to realize that your study habits are not working out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you need to study. Plain and simple. It is not possible to pass this class just by showing up and completing labs and other work. You must pay attention, adn take good notes because the exams are very thorough. Once you have studied your hardest, put in another hour. It sounds difficult because it is, but passing exams with A's are possible. I have done it a few times.
