    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in diving into the mind of not only others, but yourself. It's an exciting subject, it's mysterious and intriguing.

    Course highlights:

Abnormal psychology was my favorite part and we go in depth about different mental disorders which I thoroughly enjoy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take down everything written on the board- sometimes even things not having to do with the subject. I say this because with my specific professor, she would put down even the most random thing on a test.. Especially the first one which is usually just the syllabus comprehension. I also say this because it adds to your notes for future tests and you can read back and have better understandings and knowledge on the subject. Plus: the more you know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher because he is a well-informed professor for his field. He is very helpful and thorough when answering his student's questions. He makes sure to answer all questions before progressing to the next topic, and is quite enthusiastic when a student tells stories, whether personal or read, about information that he momentarily lacks extensive knowledge on.

    Course highlights:

As this course was is my major, Psychology, this information was quite enjoyable in my opinion. The classes seem to go quickly, if everyone stays engaged; the teacher tells stories about research done on the topics presented in class. What we had learned in this class was essentially opening our eyes to understanding how vast the world is with the thought processes of others. We also learned about how certain parts of the human brain are affected when certain chemical imbalances take place (i.e. anger, schizophrenia, joy, sleep deprivation, etc.).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Tips for this course are as follows: Read the textbook and take notes, review the powerpoints and understand the material – even if one needs to research a topic further, participate in class – making comments when he asks the class questions. Study tips, review the work packets and other given assignments, re-read the chapter summaries and vocabulary from the chapters.
