Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very fun and engaging course. Feels nice to take an image in your head and make it into a real three dimensional design.

    Course highlights:

This course really makes you familiar with cad software and helps you to use background tools rather than just the basics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO ALL THE LABS! They are a huge portion of your grade and really help you to learn.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. The Professor is very skilled at what he does and has powerful notes he wrote himself. He knows the software CATIA backwards and foward. He loves to lighten the mood with silly stories and examples. He communicates very well with the class and goes through the teachings step by step.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were getting a huge foundation in 3D modeling. I believe his teaching helped motivate me tremendously to do my own 3D modeling work. He made it fun and inspired me to do more. I learned how to model 2D drawings into 3D graphic designs and how to implement kinematics (movement) into my models. My final project I made a blender. We were not required to make the blender move by implementing joints and such. I went the extra mile and gained a 4.0 GPA. He said that only 12 percent of the class gets an A usually.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Put a lot of time into the labs and Homework assignments. If you save them for last minute you will not be able to finish them without major help. Use the TA's to your advantage. Granted, they usually seem like they dont want to help but the will help you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I never had her b/c I had the intolerable Kriska.

    Course highlights:

His tests were harder and he acted mildly retarded.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I attended the recitations for Schroeder b/c she knows what she's talking about and is pretty approachable.
