    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was the most difficult class I have ever taken, even though it was my first semester at Oakland University. It was definitley a wake-up call coming out of high school. I never expected an intro history class to require so much writing and background knowldge of second hand sources. Grading was strictly on essays.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be a bettere writer and use sources from the present to support sources from the past and vice versa.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ. READ. READ!! Do not get behind on reading the articles every week. There is about 200 assigned pages to read a week, its a lot, but keep up!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is online, and there are no exams, so there is very little commitment and no studying.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about from when America was discovered through the Reconstruction era.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework. It is a large percentage of your grade.
