    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You get what you put into the course. Organic is a difficult subject, but learning HOW to study the subject is key.

    Course highlights:

I was glad this course was curved but really competitive among students set on getting into medical school. Topics included: nomenclature, basic functional groups, drawing structures, and some nucleophilic substitution & elimination (towards the end of semester)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work problems and take advantage of the supplement instructions. Get an answer guide so that you learn how to work through problems. That way, you can understand reactions better and it becomes easier to do them.

    Course highlights:

I have learned everything from basics to complex mechanisms, The teaching style and his lectures are the key to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do what he says and you will get an A, if you do half of what he says and you will pass. This class is difficult for many students.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

it is a good pro, that is my opinion. But actually, I think that masteringchem helps me a lot. Not the pro.

    Course highlights:

Very intelligent, you can tell he has been doing this for a long time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Can rush through lecture at time but there is a lot of material to cover. Overall a quality professor.
