    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is the fundamentals of psychology, it is essential to understanding future psych classes. Professor is very interactive.

    Course highlights:

I gained insight of a field of psychology I didn't know existed- parasychology. I also realized what area I would like to specialize in after reviewing the biology perspective of psychology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If homework or extra credit is assigned, DO IT. The work is minimal and it can boost your grade up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course, because although it is slightly difficult it is very interesting. Taking it with Lisa Garver makes the class even better! As long as you go to class and listen then you will find yourself wanting to be there.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite parts of the class was a homework assignment where we had to come up with our own experiment. Although we didn't have to perform the experiment it was interesting to get feedback on and be able to come up with your own rules and outcomes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend showing up to class. She emphasized a lot of things during lecture that you wouldn't necessarily pay attention to in the book. Also, the study guides that she provides are SUPER helpful. Whatever is on there is guaranteed to be on the test since she writes them herself. For the final however, I would recommend doing the study guide as well as reading over notes/book since other professors write it.
