Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The bars, nightclubs, cafes and restaurants were nothing special but as it was a student town all these places were always very lively. My favourite place would have to be The Spoke (an on campus bar) on Wednesday night where a popular old student would perform.

    Course highlights:

Molly Blooms Martini bar Niagara Falls Toronto Montreal Quebec Algunguin Parc Thousand Islands. The "Case-method" really forces you to speak and contribute to the classes. That makes it easy to feel quite comfortable in the English language.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

after a short period of time. Though, if any problems might occur, everyone was extremly helpful. This school teaches case method, not lectures. This means that the students discuss a case and the teacher guides the discussion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Unlike schools in the United States, the legal drinking age in Canada is only 19. It's not as big of a deal for an 18-year-old to be caught with alcohol. The Dons and RAs of residences are very understanding.

    Course highlights:

but they do uphold rules of the institution. Drugs are definitely frowned upon, but marijuana laws are also a lot more relaxed in Canada than the United States. Smoking weed is not a big deal to everyone.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Greeks are involved with campus life – Greek life at Western is argued to be the best in Canada. With more social fraternities and sororities than any other Canadian school, the University of Western Ontario is home to many Greeks involved with varsity sports, student government, and nearly every faculty offered at the university.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The salad bars in residence are good for the most part. Food isn't cheap enough for a student budget, but there are lots of choices for variety. Western also boasts vegetarian options. Our campus-run restaurants (the Spoke and the Wave) are popular among students.

    Course highlights:

Western has a ton of spirit and a great Science program. I love Western! Greek life is fun and everyone is really involved. No matter which activities you become involved in, Western offers students a great social life and the best student experience in Canada.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The Western Road side of campus offers a quieter setting in its close proximity to Elborn College and Althouse Faculty of Education. All housing choices are close to amenities whether you live adjacent to campus or in the surrounding areas.
