    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The chem department screwed everyone over with their stupid final exam that contained not only course content but also points on guest speakers (which they didn't even tell us beforehand that they were on the exam), the lab manual, course content and e.t.c.

    Course highlights:

Nothing, I really hated this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind, keep up, and whatever.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a great intro to chemistry at the university level.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of the course were: 1) not doing as well as I expected on the first term test 2) always being behind 3) sapling learning assignments that are time consuming

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never get behind because it is hard to catch up. Always complete homework on time.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is required for students in science and medical science programs. That being said, I would encourage anyone to take this intro course no matter what field of study they are in.

    Course highlights:

Learn Lewis structs, chirality, and spectroscopy in this course. The labs are extremely fun, and you will make a new friend (aka lab partner).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go for it! Great intro course, no regrets taking it, fairly simple. key is to stay on top of the work and do not let yourself drift behind. That being said, I hope you get Lee as your prof too, because he is the best.
