    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's calculus basically for most math/physical science programs requires in first year and most of students will take this. I highly recommend the course and the professor Alfonso who makes the concept quite easy to learn and follow up. Certainly it's a good stage for you to be prepared well for the future math courses such as MAT237 and so on.

    Course highlights:

This course contains calculation and proofs, you can learn the calculation that MAT135/136 do and also some basic proof that MAT157 does, so it's more like a combination course. Also we learn about limits, series, sequence, taylor series and many useful math theorems that will be used in the future courses. You will see how useful it is.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the practice problems posted on the site, do the problem sets and attend the lecture and tutorial regularly.
