Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The residences are generally secure, although strangers 'piggybacking' in behind students has been a problem in the past - my residence was once infiltrated by two men with duct tape, ties and knives, intending to do damage to a female resident.

    Course highlights:

That's the biggest issue with our school; because campus buildings are distributed randomly amongst the city, one must cross areas like homeless shelters, centres for the mentally ill and other questionable parts of town to get to class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Lot's of Freedom – The campus police don't bother students and only come around to disperse campus drinking if it's too loud. The dons are very laid back about drinking and smoking weed.As a whole living on campus is expensive but very convenient.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

That means that a plethora of issues which are generally absent from campuses are close by - drugs, homelessness, mentally ill individuals, violence. Lot's of Freedom – The campus police don't bother students.

    Course highlights:

Only come around to disperse campus drinking if it's too loud. The dons are very laid back about drinking and smoking weed. All Over the Place – There are 8 different colleges within the University that offer housing to their students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I didn't even have a bathroom on my floor. The cafeteria has horrible food, isn't open very often and is way overpriced. St. Mike's is mainly comprised of Jock's and Guidos/ orange girls. As a whole living on campus is expensive but very convenient.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Take time to find the right one and be prepared to pay a bit of money as they can be pricey. Even in the unofficial student ghetto housing area. That said, there are some beautiful places around, it just takes time to find them. And almost anything is better than living on dorms for more than one year.

    Course highlights:

The campus has a large parking lot, but as far as costs go I am not very knowledgeable on the subject. But in general the use of a car is not necessary because of the TTC and subway systems which are excellent modes of transportation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

SMC Events – Bar and club related events at SMC in particular are abundant and enjoyable to say the least. The council at St. Mike's does an amazing job at planning events at Halloween time, on St. Patrick's Day and so on. Dressing up is always a key part of these events and makes them nights to remember, and provides a good back drop for photo sessions.
